Finding you a Therapist
At The Happiness Hub, we are committed to deliver deliver mental health support that perfectly aligns with your unique needs. We achieve this by placing great emphasis on ensuring the right match between our clients and therapists.
Follow these three simple steps to connect with our network.
1. Contact our office and we will connect you to a staff member of The Happiness Hub. Typically, phone interviews are scheduled within 1-3 business days after your initial call.
2. Participate in an anonymous phone interview with our staff member. During the interview, we aim to familiarize ourselves with you as a person. Our questions are personal, but they are not intrusive, and they often cover the following topics:
How would you prefer to be addressed?
Would you be willing to disclose your pronouns?
What is the reason behind you seeking help?
Are there any other experiences that you would like to share with us?
What type of professional do you believe would be most helpful?
The better we know about your background, the higher the likelihood of finding the perfect professional for you.
We also take into account your preferences for a counsellor's educational background, expertise, languages spoken, gender, therapy style, and other factors to ensure the right match.
3. Connect to a Professional
Once you are matched with one of our professionals, you will receive the counsellor's contact information within three days. You can then arrange your first appointment with them. Please note that the waiting time for this process may be longer during busy periods.
If your needs go beyond what our volunteers can provide, we will help you find other affordable resources in your area, so you can access the care you require. After all, our ultimate goal is to ensure that we provide you with appropriate care to support you in your phase.
